Job summary

Custera O&M Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination and execution of civil and infrastructure maintenance and renewal works across tunneling, rail and station assets in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates may be considered; relevant internship or project-site exposure is an advantage.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and construction documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or project-planning software is an advantage.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to site matters.
• Experience in rail, tunnel, underground infrastructure, civil maintenance or renewal works is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and coordinate daily site activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and work programmer.
• Review drawings, calculations and technical documents; identify discrepancies and coordinate timely clarification or resolution.
• Prepare and coordinate method statements, risk assessments, inspection and test plans, material submissions, requests for information and work permits.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, site supervisors and internal teams to resolve technical, access, manpower and logistics matters.
• Monitor progress, productivity and resource use; report delays, constraints and recovery actions to the Project Manager.
• Support site surveys, setting-out, quantity verification, inspections, testing and handover activities.
• Ensure work complies with project quality plans, contract requirements, WSH procedures and applicable regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate site diaries, inspection records, progress reports, photographs, as-built information and other project documentation.
• Attend coordination and progress meetings and follow up on assigned actions with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
