Job summary

HUA RONG ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee construction works, ensure drawings and specs are followed, and coordinate with subcontractors on site.

You will handle planning, daily scheduling, material readiness, safety adherence under WSH rules, and report progress to clients and project teams. Mandarin proficiency is essential to communicate with Chinese clients. This role requires a bachelor's degree and strong teamwork, with priority for candidates

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field and related certifications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; strong problem-solving skills.
• Preference given to applicants with more than one year of site supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Site supervision to ensure works match drawings and specifications.
• Ensure quality and workmanship meet standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and workers on site.
• Plan and coordinate daily site activities.
• Ensure materials, equipment and manpower are ready.
• Attend site meetings with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Uphold safety and compliance with WSH rules.
• Conduct toolbox talks and site inspections.
• Ensure project conformance with regulatory bodies (BCA, MOM, LTA, PUB).
• Prepare daily/weekly site reports and document progress.
• Track delays, site issues, and RFIs/approvals.
• Take-off quantities from drawings and assist BOQ preparation.
• Monitor material usage and costs; support cost control and variation claims.
• Interpret drawings, specs and method statements; provide technical support.
• Resolve minor technical issues on site; assist in shop drawings if needed.

• Track progress, delays, and site issues.
• Manage RFIs and approvals.
• Measure quantities from drawings (take-offs).
• Assist in preparing bills of quantities (BOQ).
• Track material usage and costs.
• Support cost control and variation claims.
• Technical Support. Interpret drawings, specs, and method statements.
• Solve minor technical issues on site.
• Assist in preparing shop drawings if needed.

Requirements:

• Possess at least a bachelor's degree in relevant field and possessrelevant qualification certifications
• Demonstrated communication skills, teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Applicants with more than one year experience will be given priority
• Mandarin speaking and written is essential knowledge due to coordinatewith Chinese client and project team
