Job summary

FU XIANG CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is looking for a capable project professional to oversee civil works, schedule management, and coordination with sub-contractors in Singapore.

You will ensure compliance with Singaporean laws and safety standards while driving timely delivery of construction milestones through proactive planning, effective communication, and rigorous problem-solving across multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Proactive and resourceful with strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to interact with people at all levels.
• Civil/structural field experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Determine project schedule by studying project plan, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
• Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
• Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan; scheduling changes and recommending actions.
• Manage work activities for the group of Sub-Contractors, supervisor and workers.
• Ensure that all legal requirements under the Singapore laws are complied with.
• Ensure that all standard operating procedures comply with specifications, quality standards, statutory and regulatory requirement.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.

Job Specifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
• Civil Engineering / Structural working experience in related fields is advantage.
• A proactive and resourceful individual who possess good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Good communication and analytical skills, able to interact with people of all levels.
