Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in road and road structure construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE Board recognition or equivalent).

Job Description

• required to attend daily pre-work meeting punctually prior to commencement of site activities and submit daily and weekly works programme to the SO
• required to attend meeting as and when notified and he shall make available a responsible person with authority to accept and make decisions and to act on his behalf. All site meetings shall be properly minuted and recorded by Engineer.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any deviations from the original plan.
• Prepare reports for clients detailing the process and outcomes.
• Develop a detailed replacement plan, including timelines, resource allocation
• Ensure the work area is safe and properly prepared, including securing necessary permits.
• Coordinate with other teams to minimize disruption to ongoing operations.
• Order and manage the procurement of Materials and any necessary tools or equipment.
• Verify that all materials meet the required specifications and standards.
• Supervise the work process, ensuring it is carried out according to the engineering standards and safety regulations.
• Document all inspections and tests performed.
• Analyse potential risks and develop contingency plans.
• Ensure that all systems are fully operational before declaring the job complete.
• Enforce safety protocols to protect personnel and equipment during the replacement process.
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure all team members are aware of their responsibilities.

Requirements

• At least three (3) years relevant experience in road and road structure construction
• Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board or qualifications acceptable by the Commissioner of Building Control for registration as Resident Engineer
