Job summary

KWAN YONG CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking a Construction Site Project Manager to oversee site operations, coordinate with sub-contractors, and ensure client quality standards are met while adapting to scope changes.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of local experience in construction project management, with strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement. Alternate Saturday work may apply.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by PE(B) or BCA.
• Minimum 5 years of local working experience in construction project management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site operations by liaising with sub-contractors for smooth workflow.
• Proactively manage project scope changes to minimize delays and cost overruns.
• Identify and resolve site issues collaboratively with other trades to maintain progress.
• Ensure project deliverables meet client quality standards through regular monitoring and checks.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to facilitate coordination and issue resolution.
• Participate in consultant meetings to align project objectives and updates.

Job Summary

• Coordinate daily site operations by liaising with sub-contractors to ensure smooth workflow and timely task completion
• Manage project scope changes proactively to minimize delays and cost overruns
• Identify and resolve site issues collaboratively with other trades to maintain project progress
• Ensure project deliverables comply with client quality standards through regular monitoring and quality checks
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to facilitate project coordination and issue resolution
• Participate actively in regular consultant meetings to align project objectives and updates

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineer Board (PEB) or Building Construction Authority (BCA)
• Minimum 5 years of local working experience in construction project management

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficient computer literacy to support project documentation and communication
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage responsibilities proactively
