Job summary

GSK Singapore is seeking an EHS leader for the Tuas Vaccines site. You will report to the Site Director and collaborate with the Site Leadership Team to foster a safe, healthy and secure environment.

Responsibilities include leading the EHSS strategy, developing the team, promoting a responsible culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and guiding external audits.

The role offers high visibility, growth opportunities and a direct impact on safety, environment and risk management across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of EHS management experience.
• Experience in biopharmaceutical or high-hazard manufacturing preferred.
• Liaising with regulatory bodies such as NEA, PUB, MOM is expected.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore EHS regulations and international standards.
• Ability to assess and manage workplace safety and environmental risks.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; collaborative work style.
• Willingness to work on-site full-time with potential for hybrid arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS practices at the Tuas Vaccines site and represent on Site Leadership Teams.
• Develop and implement the site EHSS strategy and annual plans.
• Lead, manage and develop the site EHSS team.
• Promote a responsible SEHS culture and ensure policy implementation.
• Advise management on SEHS planning and set objectives and targets.
• Establish SEHS monitoring and auditing systems for regulatory compliance.
• Communicate SEHS results and implications to management.
• Regulatory interface with authorities and preparation for external audits.
• Share best practices with SEHS professionals within GSK.
• Oversee Emergency Planning, Incident Management and Crisis Management.
