CORNERSTONE GLOBAL PARTNERS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of engineering and infrastructure projects in Singapore.

The candidate will coordinate projects, supervise on-site activities, and assist in testing, commissioning, and handover. The role requires a Diploma or degree in engineering and at least 3 years of experience in rail systems, communications networks or fibre optic infrastructure.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer, Network, or related engineering.
3+ years in project coordination, site installation, testing and commissioning in rail networks or fibre optic infrastructure.
Experience in rail or transit projects is advantageous.
Experience coordinating with project stakeholders and contractors is advantageous.
Familiar with PTW and railway engineering procedures is advantageous.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, BIM or similar drawing tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Willing to travel between office and project sites.
Willing to work night or engineering hours when required.

Responsibilities

Review project submissions, including specifications, drawings, test procedures and method statements, and coordinate with the project team to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Supervise on-site installation, testing and commissioning, interface and integration activities, punch-list/defect rectification and handover activities to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, interfacing contractors and other project stakeholders to resolve site issues, clashes and implementation matters.
Monitor project schedules and progress, and support the preparation of project updates and reports to ensure timely delivery.
Attend project meetings and coordinate follow-up actions to support project delivery.
Conduct and/or supervise site surveys, fibre optic (FO) routing verification, cable installation, network equipment installation, testing and commissioning activities.
Coordinate the resolution of site constraints, routing conflicts, FO core allocation issues and other technical matters arising during implementation.
Support troubleshooting and resolution of network equipment configuration issues, communication failures, network connectivity issues and system integration matters during installation, testing, commissioning and migration activities.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to facilitate smooth project implementation and handover.
