Job summary

LY STRUCTURE ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a site construction lead to assist the Construction Manager/Project Director in guiding the on-site team to deliver works safely, on time, and to specification.

You will plan ahead to prevent cost overruns, review equipment and materials requisitions, manage daily site activities, and maintain clear documentation with clients and contractors. You will liaise with authorities and resolve technical issues to keep the project moving.

Responsibilities

• Assist Construction Manager/Project Director to lead site construction team and ensure smooth execution of works.
• Plan ahead of schedule to resolve site problems before they impact cost, schedule and quality.
• Review equipment and materials requisitions.
• Manage correspondence and documentation with Client/Client's Representative and contractors.
• Oversee day-to-day site activities, supervising and monitoring site labour and subcontractors.
• Liaise with authorities, client's representatives, sub-contractors and consultants.
• Check and ensure all plans and work comply with specifications.
• Resolve technical difficulties and problems that may arise on site.
