Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• At least 3 years QA/QC experience on civil projects.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and inspection procedures.
• Familiarity with construction codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Willing to work on-site at west project site in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit inspection requests, quality documentation, material submission and method statements.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, suppliers, subcontractors and relevant authorities.
• Conduct inspections of site activities, materials, workmanship and completed works to ensure compliance with LTA specifications, approved drawings and method statements.
• Documentation
• Ensure all construction materials (including field and laboratory tests) comply with LTA specifications, approved drawings and method statements.
• Prepare and maintain inspection and quality documentation ensuring works comply with LTA specifications, approved drawings and method statements.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on quality performance and compliance issues.
• Ensure all testing and inspection activities are carried out according to approved procedures and standards.
• Quality Systems Implementation:
• Prepare and maintain quality records (including Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans) and testing documentation.
• Track, document, and manage quality non-conformances, issue NCRs and CARs, and work with site engineers and consultants on corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure timely resolution of quality concerns and implement corrective actions where required.
• Liaise closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Consultants, and Subcontractors on quality-related matters.
