Job summary

HireArt is helping our client find a Singapore Community Lead (Voice Data) to build a vibrant local community and recruit a diverse pool of Singaporean speakers for upcoming voice data projects.

You will source, engage, and onboard participants across SSE, Singlish, and code-switching varieties, blending online outreach with in-person activities around Singapore. This is a 4-6 week independent contractor role, averaging 15–25 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English with Singlish awareness.
• Familiar with Singapore culture and linguistic nuances.
• Strong online community knowledge for recruitment.
• Outgoing, approachable communication style.
• Able to learn new software and explain tech to participants.
• Self-motivated and proactive; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Recruit participants speaking SSE, Singlish, Chinese-influenced Singapore English, Malay-influenced Singapore English, and highly code-switched Singlish.
• Drive community outreach through local online communities, social platforms, and university boards.
• Build awareness via in-person outreach, including pop-ups and events.
• Guide participants through the voice recording process and ensure comfort with required software.
• Provide participant support and troubleshoot minor technical issues during recording.
• Collaborate with the core team to share feedback and adjust outreach strategies by locale.
