Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Legal Entity Controller (Associate) in Singapore to deliver statutory and regulatory reporting for a Singapore legal entity, while strengthening governance and internal controls.

You will partner with Finance, Risk, and business teams to assess regulatory change and impacts on reporting and capital management. You will work in a collaborative environment with ownership and clear communication, supporting regulatory submissions to MAS and external auditors, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification accounting experience in a public accounting firm and/or a financial institution.
• Working knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
• Understanding of Singapore banking regulatory reporting requirements.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, or supporting regulatory returns and local regulatory reporting submissions.
• Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, structured analysis).

Responsibilities

• Deliver legal entity control activities to support accurate financial reporting and governance for a Singapore banking legal entity
• Prepare, review, and submit regulatory returns and local regulatory reporting to MAS
• Produce statutory financial reporting and coordinate audit deliverables with external auditors
• Ensure reporting processes align to firmwide accounting and control policies and local requirements
• Prepare and deliver timely and accurate reporting to global Finance stakeholders
• Maintain and enhance a strong internal control environment, including documentation, testing, and remediation
• Monitor IFRS/US GAAP developments and assess impacts to reporting and controls
• Analyze legal entity impacts from new business developments and regulatory changes
• Partner with stakeholders to support capital management insights and monitoring of key ratios
• Improve reporting efficiency and quality through process standardization and data analysis
