Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Singapore is hiring an Associate for the Finance Legal Entity Controller team. You will ensure timely financial reporting and regulatory filings for Singapore entities, partnering with APAC LEC locations and global teams, including the US and Asia.

You will analyze legal entity implications for new business developments, regulatory changes, and monitor capital adequacy to support financial ratios and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Finance or Accountancy.
• 5+ years post-qualification experience in public accounting or financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of risk-based capital adequacy for CMSL reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor risk-based capital ratios for CMSL securities entity daily and monthly.
• Month-end close under US GAAP and local GAAP.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement variances with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in groups for projects and initiatives affecting the securities entity.
• Analyze impact of new accounting standards/regulations and new products.
• Coordinate with auditors and regulators; maintain internal controls.
