Job summary

Macquarie Singapore is seeking a senior leader to unify Product Control and Valuation Control for our commodity trading platforms. You will oversee daily P&L production, balance sheet integrity, independent valuation governance and financial reporting across physical and derivative markets.

You will partner with Front Office, Risk and Finance to drive end-to-end processes, strengthen controls, and shape the Asia operating model for Product and Valuation Control.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience leading Product Control or Valuation Control in a regulated institution
• 10+ years experience with physical and derivative commodity products (FX Derivatives, LNG, natural gas, power or energy markets)
• 5+ years experience of valuation control practices (price verification, valuation adjustments, reserves, fair value governance)
• Strong understanding of commodity market risk concepts (VaR, stress testing, exposure)
• Experience overseeing daily P&L production, month-end close and balance sheet reporting in a trading business

Responsibilities

• Lead Singapore Product and Valuation Control activities with end-to-end ownership
• Oversee daily P&L production, balance sheet control and independent valuation governance
• Provide commercial insight and independent oversight to Front Office, Risk and Finance stakeholders
• Shape the future operating model for Product and Valuation Control across Asia
• Represent the team with executive presence and engage with global stakeholders
