Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd. is seeking an experienced Finance professional to join the Group Finance function in Singapore, focusing on valuation and control for Equities, Precious metals and Commodities.

The role requires 15+ years in a global bank, strong analytical skills, and proven leadership to drive improvements and mentor junior staff. You will lead methodologies, interact with senior stakeholders, and coordinate with auditors while supporting risk and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Product/Valuation/Market/Risk control within a global financial institution.
• Degree in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong leadership and ability to mentor junior staff, with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance valuation and reserves methodologies for Equities, Precious metals, and Commodities.
• Articulate valuation and reserves concepts to stakeholders, senior management, risk committees and regulators.
• Drive data-driven and AI initiatives to change current processes front to back.
• Lead projects and system upgrades to improve efficiency and control.
• Review and validate market data quality for end-of-day pricing across asset classes.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors on audit issues.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
