Job summary

Clyde & Co in Singapore is seeking an Associate-level lawyer with 1-5 years’ post-qualification experience to join the construction practice, focusing on disputes, litigation and arbitration. You will work with Partner Eugene Tan and a leading team on high-profile projects in Asia Pacific.

Qualifications

Between 1-5 years’ post-qualification experience advising clients.
Qualified to practise in Singapore.
Experience in commercial litigation, mediation, adjudication and arbitration; construction preferred.
Cross-border disputes exposure is an advantage.
Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Assist Partners on complex, large-scale matters across construction disputes and arbitration.
Manage own caseload of non-contentious and contentious construction matters.
Research, review and draft contracts, project documents, opinions and correspondence.
Engage with clients, take instructions, provide updates and contribute to strategy talks.
Prepare for business development activities and initiatives.
Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and trainees (for mid-level PQE).
