Job summary

Cockett Group in Singapore is seeking a Bunker Trader to lead day-to-day business and drive regional growth from the Singapore office.

Responsibilities include sourcing new clients, maintaining key relationships, market research, and expanding market share. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in bunker re‑selling, with a proactive, driven mindset and strong product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management and a minimum of 3 years of proven experience within the bunker re‑selling industry.
• Reliable, confident and insightful personality.
• Strong motivated achiever with good attention to detail.
• Dynamic, proactive and driven attitude.
• Understanding of the oil re‑selling and/or shipping industry and in-depth product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Proactively source new clients as well as maintain close business relationships with existing clients and develop these accounts.
• Perform market research to remain up to date with current markets and promote products and services.
• Efficiently liaise with the team on all internal and external developments.
• Monitor, develop and expand the market share.
• Comply with product specifications as per customer requirements.
