Job summary

JDA WMS PTE. LTD. is seeking a full-time Architectural Assistant to join a growing Singapore design practice that creates innovative building solutions for owners locally and abroad.

You will work closely with clients, consultants and builders to balance creativity with project constraints. Responsibilities include supporting construction plans, preparing authority submission drawings, organising documents, and coordinating with engineers to ensure timely delivery of design concepts and

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Architecture.
• At least 3 years of post-qualification experience; industrial or hospitality projects a plus.
• Knowledge of Singapore building codes and authority requirements.
• Strong technical skills in CAD, 3D modelling and similar design software.
• Problem-solving, critical thinking and sound decision-making for high-quality design.
• Clear communication and presentation skills; team-oriented in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Support architects in developing construction plans.
• Prepare drawings and documents for authority submissions, covering building regulations, planning permissions and statutory approvals.
• Keep drawings, plans, client briefs and survey notes well organised.
• Check that work follows relevant guidelines and standards.
• Join meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and contractors on project details.
• Assist with site surveys, measure-ups, material research and coordination with engineers.
• Help present design concepts and track project timelines and deliverables.
