Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Business Development Manager for Simulation to expand our global Process Simulation portfolio. The role involves direct sales with regional teams to win new customers, and close collaboration with marketing to drive demand generation for simulation solutions.

You will bring deep domain knowledge in process modelling, simulation and optimization, and work across hybrid/remote arrangements while targeting multi-country markets including Asia and beyond.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development or account management in a technology environment.
• 5+ years in business-technical sales or consulting.
• Significant experience in process modelling, simulation and optimization.
• Operations technology and enterprise software understanding.
• Degree in engineering science discipline.

Responsibilities

• Direct sales pursuits: work with regional sales and pre-sales teams to acquire new customers and generate new business.
• Demand generation: collaborate with regional marketing to shape marketing and demand initiatives for Process Simulation and identify opportunities.
