Job summary

The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Lab & Simulation Technician role within our healthcare education facilities. The position focuses on setting up equipment, simulations, and on-site technical support for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

You will maintain the lab, manage inventories, assist with 3D-printed task trainers, and support safety and PPE training, with occasional weekend shifts as required.

Qualifications

• Higher Nitec or Diploma in Nursing or related field.
• 1–2 years' experience in healthcare or education environment advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Able to communicate concisely with all levels of stakeholders.
• Willing to work on weekends and staggered shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with faculty to set up equipment and AV systems for courses.
• Program simulation scenarios and perform teardowns post-session.
• Provide live technical support and troubleshoot IT/AV equipment.
• Maintain lab environment, restock equipment and consumables.
• Set up 3D-printed parts for task trainers and simulators.
• Serve as Fire Warden for safety inspections and drills.
• Conduct N95 mask fitting and PPE testing for students.
• Undertake additional operational and administrative duties as needed.

Education

Higher Nitec or Diploma Holder in Nursing or any Medical Healthcare, Life Science, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering or Engineering related
