Job summary

National University Health System in Singapore is seeking a Medical Technologist to provide patient education, troubleshoot and generate reports for inpatient and outpatient studies under the clinical lead.

You will participate in departmental quality assurance initiatives, assemble, check, operate and maintain equipment per hospital and manufacturer guidelines, and monitor diagnostic and technical systems to uphold safety and service standards, with a willingness to work night shifts, weekends

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in Medical Technology, Health Sciences or Biomedical Science.
• Preferably with relevant experience from accredited facility.
• Preferably CPSGT or RPSGT certification.
• Willing to work night shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient education, troubleshoot and generate reports for inpatient and outpatient studies
• Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of disorders under general supervision of clinical lead
• Participate in departmental quality assurance initiatives
• Assemble, check, operate and maintain equipment and instruments based on hospital and manufacturer’s established guidelines and procedures
• Monitor the functionality of diagnostic and technical equipment to maintain safety standard
