Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, or related discipline.
• Familiarity with analytical instruments and basic upkeep (training provided).
• Strong organisational skills to manage lab inventory and support procurement tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Team-oriented in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep lab equipment running through routine checks and basic upkeep.
• Support analytical instruments operations: monitor performance, troubleshoot, escalate complex issues as needed.
• Manage chemicals, samples, and lab supplies: track inventory, replenish stocks, label and store items.
• Manage lab procurement: quotes, orders, deliveries tracking.
• Provide research administrative and lab safety support to keep daily operations organized.
• Perform other operational duties as required.
