Job summary

WS Audiology in Singapore is seeking a Simulation Intern to support product development and validation through waterproof testing of hearing aids and components, and to analyze test data correlating results with CFD and mechanical simulations.

You will also contribute to simulation methodology development while collaborating with cross-functional teams on innovative engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Currently an undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering.
• Familiarity with simulation and CAD tools, as well as Vibe Coding tools.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Passion for creating positive impact through technology in assistive technology or the medical device industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct waterproof testing on parts and hearing aids using contact angle goniometer or sweat dripping setups; correlate results with CFD Volume-of-Fluid simulations.
• Conduct hearing aid impact testing using Pendulum or Heina Drop Testers for product design validation; correlate results with mechanical simulations.
• Support forefront simulation methodology and validation projects, including material characterisation.
