Job summary

Government Technology Agency (GovTech) invites applications for Short-Term Clinical Instructors in the School of Health & Social Sciences. You will mentor nursing students during clinical placements in hospital and community settings, delivering instruction and evaluating progress.

You will orientate students to clinical sites, provide feedback, and support the development of clinical skills assessments, while maintaining confidentiality and collaborating with hospital staff.

Qualifications

• Nursing qualifications and current RN license are required.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience in acute health care.
• Strong knowledge of nursing skills, trends and issues.
• Good computer literacy; able to integrate technology into learning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to interact at all levels.
• Effective presentation and demonstration skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills; innovative; team player; able to multi-task.
• Teaching experience or qualification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Mentor nursing students during clinical placements in hospital and community facilities.
• Orientate students to clinical sites, schedules, and assessment methods.
• Provide regular feedback to clinical placement providers.
• Support development of objectives and competency assessments for clinical skills logbooks.
• Manage staff weekly roster and report to clinical manager.
• Maintain student confidentiality and uphold duties.
