Job summary

Tan Tock Seng Hospital is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse (Clinical Instructor) to lead clinical supervision and teaching for nursing students, bridging theory to patient-centered care. You will plan and coordinate clinical training across areas, evaluate programs, and promote evidence-based practices in supervision.

The role requires a Diploma/Bachelor’s in Nursing, State RN, and 3–5 years in nursing education, with postgraduate education preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Postgraduate qualification in education or its equivalent preferred.
• State Registered Nurse.
• 3–5 years of nursing education experience.
• Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts clinical supervision and teaching to enable nursing students to translate theoretical knowledge to patient-centered care in order to bridge clinical competency gaps.
• Plans, coordinates, implements, and evaluates clinical training of nursing students in the assigned clinical areas.
• Assesses, reviews, promotes and feedback to relevant party to achieve excellence patient care standards in the clinical setting.
• Appraises and utilises the evidence-based practices related to the field of supervision.
