Job summary

RAFFLES EMPLOYMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a retail associate to assist customers, operate the checkout, and maintain shelves. The role involves handling shipments, labeling products, and providing shopping advice to customers during busy hours.

The position requires weekend and night shift availability and the ability to lift 10–25kg. Experience in a retail environment is preferred to support a clean, well-organised store and accurate price checks.

Qualifications

• Relevant working experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to operate POS systems and handle payments.
• Stock handling and shelf replenishment responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, unpacking and arranging new shipments from suppliers and vendors.
• Arranging and labelling goods in the display shelves.
• Assisting customers in finding the products they're looking for.
• Processing customer payments at the checkout point/till.
• Addressing customer complaints and inquiries.
• Providing shopping advice and recommendations to customers.
• Cleaning and rearranging the store after hours.
• Performing periodic price audits to resolve price discrepancies.
• Collaborating with other team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organised at all times.
