Job summary

VENUS BOUTIQUE & TAILOR PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a friendly Retail Sales Associate to welcome customers, answer product questions, process purchases, and keep the shop tidy and inviting.

You will work with a small team, handle cash payments, maintain stock displays, and deliver excellent service on weekends or public holidays when required.

Qualifications

• Prior retail or sales experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic numeracy and cash-handling ability.
• Able to work well in a team and independently when needed.
• Basic knowledge of English; additional languages is a plus.
• Willing to work on weekends or public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers with product enquiries and purchases.
• Provide information about products, prices, and promotions.
• Recommend suitable products based on customer requirements.
• Handle cash, card, and other payment transactions accurately.
• Issue receipts and maintain proper sales records.
• Arrange, replenish, and display products neatly.
• Check stock levels and assist with stock receiving and inventory counting.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and presentable.
• Handle customer feedback and basic complaints professionally.
• Assist with opening and closing shop duties.
• Support other daily shop operations as required.
