Job summary

INTUIT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. supports a client in the Transportation/Logistics sector in Jurong East hiring a Shipping Coordinator/Executive. The role focuses on coordinating shipment bookings with carriers and internal stakeholders, and ensuring accurate shipping documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Logistics, Operations Management, or related field, with training provided for new entrants. Availability on short notice is preferred. Salary up to SGD 3,700 + bonus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipment bookings and liaise with carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Prepare and process shipping and export documentation accurately
• Handle Dangerous Goods (DG) shipments in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Arrange DG declaration submissions with carriers and co-loaders
• Handle all necessary port and carrier declarations and regulatory filings for hazardous materials
• Coordinate transportation and trucking arrangements for cargo movement
• Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates on operational status

Our esteemed client in the Transportation/ Logistics industry is seeking a Shipping Coordinator/ Executive to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Shipping Coordinator / Executive
• Location: Jurong East
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon to Thu, 8.30am to 6pm; Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm)
• Salary Package: Up to $3,700 + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate shipment bookings and liaise with carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Prepare and process shipping and export documentation accurately
• Handle Dangerous Goods (DG) shipments in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Arrange DG declaration submissions with carriers and co-loaders
• Handle all necessary port and carrier declarations and regulatory filings required for hazardous materials, ensuring all documentation strictly adheres to international regulations and shipping guidelines.
• Coordinate transportation and trucking arrangements for cargo movement
• Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates on operational status

Job Requirements:

• At least Diploma in Logistics, Operations Management, Supply Chain or related discipline.
• Inexperienced candidates are welcome to apply as training will be provided.
