Job summary

STMicroelectronics Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking a Production Shift Leader to run 24/7 operations. You will manage people, execute the production plan, and ensure safety, quality, and output targets are met in real time.

The role requires a Diploma or degree in Engineering or a related field, 2–5 years in high-volume manufacturing (semiconductor/electronics preferred), and strong communication and manpower coordination skills. Rotating shifts and nights included.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-handling skills.
• Ability to organize manpower, assign tasks, and manage breaks while maintaining output.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift environment, including rotating shifts, weekends, and nights.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations by managing people, executing the production plan, and ensuring safety, quality, and output targets are met in real time.
• Achieve production targets by maintaining WIP flow and maximizing equipment capacity.
• Drive improvements in fab yield and promote quality awareness across the team.
• Foster a disciplined and productive workforce through effective manpower allocation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain audit readiness and follow up on workforce discipline actions.
• Improve people productivity through resource management, multi-skilling, and training.
• Support production planning to achieve higher moves and turns and optimize manpower and equipment utilization.
• Promote a safe, green, and healthy working environment in line with EHS requirements.
• Support cost reduction activities and responsible use of resources.
