Job summary

SOITEC MICROELECTRONICS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a Production Supervisor to run an assigned area in a fast-paced semiconductor environment. You will plan production schedules, optimise resources, and collaborate with departments to minimise idle time and scrap.

The role requires an Engineering degree, ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (4/3/3/4), and strong leadership with knowledge of FIFO/LILO, Kanban and lean manufacturing to drive continuous improvement and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering required.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (4/3/3/4 cycle) and rotate day/night.
• Strong knowledge of production management, FIFO/LILO, Kanban and lean manufacturing.
• Analytical mindset with leadership and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Run and develop assigned area to meet goals and objectives.
• Identify bottlenecks and discuss problems with relevant departments.
• Plan best production schedule to reduce idle time and cycle time.
• Optimize human resources according to specifications and status.
• Investigate ways to reduce scrap, nonconformity and manpower ineffectiveness.
• Ensure delivery schedules are met and production efficiency increases.
