Job summary

Keppel Seghers Engineering Singapore Pte. Ltd. invites a Support Operations Engineer to monitor plant status from the Central Control Room and assist in safe isolation using P&ID diagrams. The role covers water/wastewater treatment, bunker management and related plant operations in a Waste-to-Energy setting.

You will support 12-hour shift operations, engage with maintenance during overhauls, and help drive plant improvements while ensuring ISO-compliant documentation and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Higher NITEC or equivalent in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical engineering.
• Class 2 Boiler Attendant Certificate preferred but not mandatory.
• Working knowledge of plant equipment and DCS functions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant status via CCR, tracking boilers, turbo-generators and flue gas treatment auxiliaries.
• Assist in safe equipment isolation and normalization using P&ID drawings.
• Support operations with weighbridges, water/wastewater treatment, reception halls and bunker management.
• Resolve daily generation and processing unit issues; perform routine checks and testing.
• Enforce PTW, risk assessments and Lockout-Tagout procedures; participate in safety initiatives.
• Assist maintenance during boiler and turbo-generator overhauls.
• Contribute to plant improvement and optimization projects.
• Record changes in procedures per ISO standards; document incidents with minimal disruption.
• Monitor parameters via DCS and site; adjust to keep within limits.
