Job summary

REC Solar Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a highly motivated Shift Technician to support equipment maintenance and continuous improvement in REC’s solar module manufacturing plant. You will drive equipment reliability, uptime, product quality, and manufacturing excellence across a 12‑hour rotating shift.

You will perform PM/PDM/TPM activities, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, document maintenance updates, and support process optimization and system upgrades.

Qualifications

• Diploma or NITEC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Entry level candidates are welcome.
• Experience in equipment maintenance in manufacturing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance during shift.
• Carry out basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Execute PM, PDM and TPM activities according to schedules and standards.
• Provide timely maintenance updates and reports on maintenance works.
• Support process optimization, cost reduction, and equipment upgrades.
