Job summary

REC is seeking a hands-on Shift Technician to support equipment maintenance at the Cells manufacturing plant in Singapore. You will drive reliability, efficiency, and quality through PM/PDM/TPM activities and proactive problem-solving on a 12-hour rotating shift.

Ideal candidates have a diploma or NITEC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, with experience in automation systems, motors, sensors, and electrical schematics. Entry level welcomed; willingness to standby on weekends is a plus.

Qualifications

Experience with equipment maintenance in manufacturing environments.
Hands-on experience with automation, pneumatics, motors, sensors, and electrical schematics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; root cause analysis preferred.
Proactive attitude, integrity, and accountability; able to work independently.
Good computer literacy and communication across levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance during shift.
Carry out basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Execute PM, PDM and TPM activities per schedules and standards.
Maintain equipment in good operational condition and provide updates.
Support process optimization, cost reduction and equipment qualification projects.
Follow safety procedures and maintenance work instructions.
Maintain discipline and support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Perform other duties as assigned by project and organizational needs.
