Job summary

Crew in Singapore is seeking a Kitchen Commis to support senior chefs in a fast-paced kitchen. You will assist with dish preparation, maintain cleanliness, and learn professional cooking techniques while upholding food safety and sanitation standards in line with guidelines.

Working 5 days a week with rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, night) at Marina Bay, you must be comfortable on holidays and with non-halal items and alcohol.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 to 4 years of kitchen experience preferred.
• Comfortable working on public holidays and rotating shifts.
• Role requires handling of non-halal food items and alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Monitor food production to ensure compliance with recipes, specifications, and standards of food presentation, production, and portion control.

Job Scope

• Properly store all food products in designated refrigeration units and storage containers throughout the shift.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all culinary work areas

• Strong understanding of food safety protocols and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to enforce standards consistently and work collaboratively with kitchen staff.
