Job summary

Cactus Companies in Singapore is seeking a Project Planner/Controller to deliver projects on-site. You will manage schedules, risk, and cost, coordinating engineering, procurement, and testing across global teams. A 3–5 year track record in project planning plus 2 years in PM is expected.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or related field, with PMP or Primavera P6 proficiency preferred. On-site work at our Singapore location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, with 2 years in a project management role.
• Experience in supporting complex and testing projects (Oil & Gas and Energy, Industry preferred).
• Professional certifications preferred: PMP® or equivalent.
• Primavera P6 certified or advanced user (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using planning tools.
• Translate WBS into fully resourced schedules and demand and capacity charts.
• Ensure critical path analysis, float calculations, and what-if scenario planning.
• Integrate engineering, procurement, assembly, and testing into a master schedule.
• Track and report progress against baselines; identify delays and risks; propose mitigations.
• Support in cost management and reporting to stakeholders.
• Provide timely updates to project teams and management.

JOB SUMMARY: As related customer equipment, faciliaties or infrastructure projects: responsible forproject delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of projectrelated activities and resources. Understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, ROLES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties and responsibilities include thefollowing.

Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using planning tools.
• Translate work breakdown structures (WBS) and project deliverables into fully resourcedschedules and demand and capacity charts.
• Ensure critical path analysis, float calculations, and what-if scenario planning are carried outeffectively.
• Integrate engineering, procurement, assembly, and testing activities into a single masterschedule.

Progress Monitoring & Control

• Track and report progress against baseline schedules, milestones, and key deliverables.
• Identify delays, risks, and variances; recommend recovery or mitigation actions.
• Support project performance analysis, generate dashboards and reports for management andstakeholders.

Project Management Support

• Support in balancing schedules, budgets, and resources across multiple projects.
• Support risk management by identifying schedule-related risks and opportunities.
• Support in cost management and tracking of project cost against project budget.
• Implement continuous improvement into project resource, schedule and cost management
• Participate in change management and assess impacts of scope variations on time and cost.

Stakeholder Communication

• Provide accurate and timely updates to project teams, management, and customers.
• Facilitate project review meetings with clear presentation of schedule and cost health andvariances.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, vendors, andtesting disciplines.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, with 2 years in a projectmanagement role.
• Experience in supporting complex and testing projects (Oil & Gas and Energy, Industriespreferred).

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Professional certifications preferred: PMP® or equivalent (Preferred).
• Primavera P6 certified or advanced user (Preferred).

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• Strong command of Primavera P6, MS Project, and related project planning tools.
• Familiarity with cost control and risk analysis and monitoring.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
