Job summary

Medicare (S) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service and repair medical and aesthetic equipment at customer sites across Singapore.

You will perform PM, calibrations, testing, and startup, ensuring devices meet manufacturer specifications. The role requires hands-on technical work, good communication, and the ability to travel locally. You will prepare service reports, coordinate with customers and the operations team, and provide on-site user training while upholding

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant technical service experience (medical/aesthetic equipment preferred).
• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma / Degree / Master’s in electrical, electronic, biomedical engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Install, PM, troubleshoot and repair medical/aesthetic equipment at customer sites.
• Deliver equipment for demonstrations or new installations with setup and basic configuration.
• Provide on-site technical support and ensure equipment functions per manufacturer specs.
• Test, calibrate and commission equipment.
• Prepare service reports and document each service visit.
• Coordinate with operations and customers on service schedules and technical matters.
• Liaise with overseas principals/suppliers for technical support and spare parts as needed.
• Ensure safe handling of tools and equipment.
• Provide basic user training on equipment operation and care.
• Comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements in Singapore.
• Support ad-hoc technical duties as assigned by Operations Manager.

• Deliver equipment to client premises for demonstrations or new installations, including setup and basic configuration.


• Provide on‑site technical support and ensure equipment is functioning according to manufacturer specifications.


• Conduct equipment testing, calibration, and commissioning.


• Prepare service reports and maintain proper documentation after each service visit.


• Coordinate with the operation team and customers regarding service schedules and technical matters.


• Liaise with overseas principals/suppliers for technical support and spare parts when required.


• Ensure proper handling of tools and equipment.


• Provide basic user training to customers on equipment operation and care.


• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and regulatory requirements in Singapore.


• Support ad‑hoc technical duties as assigned by the Operation Manager.

Requirements

• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma / Degree / Master’s in electrical, Electronic, Biomedical Engineering or related field.


• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant technical service experience (medical/aesthetic equipment experience preferred).


• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic troubleshooting.


• Hands‑on, responsible, and able to work independently.


• Good communication and interpersonal skills.


• Possess Class 3 driving licence.


• Willing to travel locally within Singapore for on‑site service support.
