Job summary

Well Established Company is seeking a technician to perform outdoor and indoor repair work on cleaning products, with a focus on mechanical maintenance and fault diagnosis.

You will work in the Gul Circle area (company transport provided), from Monday to Friday, 8:15 am to 5:15 pm, with potential for growth and career progression within the welfare-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Professional Certificate or Nitec in Electrical & Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering is required.
• Experience in repair of forklifts, heavy equipment or related machinery is useful.
• Class 3 driving license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of cleaning products both outdoors and indoors.
• Perform mechanical preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, replace parts and repair.
• Coordinate with service technicians and manage tasks between field service and workshop repairs.
• Work in the company workshop when outdoor repair is not required.
• Handle ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for outdoor and indoor repair work of all cleaning products
• Mechanical preventive maintenance - verify mechanical faults, replacement of spare parts and repair
• Work closely with service technicians for problem solving and coordinating jobs between field service and workshop repairs
• Required to work within the Company workshop where there is no outdoor repair
• Any ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Possess at least a Professional Certificate/ Nitec in any Electrical & Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering or relevant qualification
• Experience in repair of forklifts, automobiles, heavy industrial equipment, and knowledge in engines, motors and electrical would be relevant and useful
• Possess Class 3 driving license is an advantage
