Job summary

RRecruiter in Singapore seeks an experienced Service Engineer to install, calibrate, maintain and repair vacuum, leak detection, gas analysis and pressure equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing. You will troubleshoot, perform functional checks, and provide technical support to customers with a focus on uptime.

Responsibilities include scheduling, reporting, and coordinating with teams while adhering to strict safety and cleanroom requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical/electronics/mechanical/mechatronics engineering.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience in equipment servicing and repair.
• Experience with vacuum systems and gas analysis equipment.
• Semiconductor/manufacturing cleanroom environment experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Install, commissioning, maintenance, calibration, and repair of vacuum, leak detection, gas analysis, and pressure equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and perform repairs.
• Conduct functional and performance checks after servicing to ensure reliability.
• Respond to customer service requests and minimize downtime.
• Provide technical support and guidance on operation and maintenance.
• Prepare accurate service, maintenance and calibration reports.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams on service schedules and parts.
• Follow all safety, quality, cleanroom and site requirements.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to reliability and service processes.
