Job summary

SEARCH PERSONNEL PRIVATE LIMITED invites a Service Engineer to support marine navigation and communication systems at client sites locally and overseas. Based near Boon Lay, you will handle service, commissioning, and on-site advisory work.

Ideal candidate holds a technical diploma in electrical/electronic engineering with 1–2 years in marine tech, ready for travel and overtime to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• ITE certificate or Diploma in electrical/electronic engineering.
• 1–2 years experience in troubleshooting marine navigation and communication equipment.
• Experience in marine, maritime, naval, defence or related technical industries welcome.
• Experience with Radar and ECDIS is an added advantage.
• Able to work independently and manage tasks.

• Provide service and commissioning support for marine communication and navigational equipment locally and overseas.
• Coordinate work with shipyards or contractors and advise on projects.
• Take ownership and manage assigned service jobs ensuring adherence to company standards.

Job description

• Position :Service Engineer - MARINE/NAVIGATION/COMMUNICATION X2
• Location : Bulim Dr- Few bus stops from Boon Lay Interchange
• Working hours : 5 days/ (Monday- Friday, 8:30am-6:00pm)
• Salary(commensurate depending on experience) : Up to $5200 + AWS + Bonus + 14 days Annual Leave + OT
• Duration : Permanent
• Industry : Marine Navigation system -MNC

Main Responsibilities

• Provide service and commissioning support for marine communication and navigational equipment locally and oversea.
• Provide advisory and coordinate work carried out by shipyards or contractor.
• Taking ownership and responsibility on assigned projects or service jobs, ensuring their adherence toward company standards.

Requirements

• Min ITE certificate/ Diploma in electrical/electronic engineering
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in trouble shooting of Marine Navigation and Communication Equipment.
• Candidates with experience in marine, maritime, naval systems, defence or related technical industries are welcome to apply.
• Experience with Radar and ECDIS systems will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively.
• Willing to support overtime work and travel overseas at short notice when operational requirements arise.
