Job summary

RRECRUITER PTE. LTD. seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, and maintain CNC machines and automation at customer sites across Singapore.

You will perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and on-site commissioning, ensuring minimal downtime. The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics and 3–5 years of field experience with CNC tools. Proficiency reading drawings and PLC diagrams, plus good English communication, is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering.
• 3–5 years of field service experience with CNC machine tools.
• Experience reading mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance, machine inspection, geometry checks, and laser calibration.
• Conduct pre-shipment inspections and support installation/delivery for local and overseas markets.
• Respond to service calls and provide timely technical support.
• Diagnose CNC/PLC issues and prepare service reports.
• Advise customers on maintenance and best practices.
• Coordinate spare parts requirements, quotations, and delivery.
• Collaborate with Service, Application, Sales, and overseas teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and after-sales support.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines, controllers, and automation systems at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance, machine inspection, geometry checks, and laser calibration.
• Conduct pre-shipment inspections and support machine installation/delivery for local and overseas markets.
• Respond to customer service calls and provide timely technical support.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, CNC, and PLC-related issues and prepare service reports.
• Advise customers on routine machine maintenance and best practices.
• Coordinate spare parts requirements, service quotations, and delivery.
• Work closely with Service, Application, Sales, and overseas distributor teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and provide after-sales technical support.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related Engineering.
• 3-5 years of field service experience, preferably with CNC machine tools.
• Experience with Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens, or Heidenhain CNC controls is an advantage.
• Able to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Good English communication skills.
