Job summary

Ministry Of Social And Family Development invites undergraduates to join the Service Experience Design team as an internship. You will support field research, ideation, and documentation while engaging with parents, preschool operators and partner agencies in Singapore.

You will gain hands-on experience in design thinking, user research, and service improvements across the public sector, with mentorship and opportunities to present findings to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Good writing and interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of design thinking and user research methods.
• Data analysis skills including working with spreadsheets and descriptive statistics.
• Familiarity with collaboration and design tools such as Miro or Figma.

Responsibilities

• Assist in field research preparation, interview scripts and participant screening criteria.
• Support recruitment and scheduling of research participants including parents and preschool operators.
• Take notes at interviews and focus groups and prepare transcripts and summaries.
• Analyse feedback sources to identify recurring themes and map findings to the parent journey.
• Help organize brainstorming sessions and co-creation workshops with stakeholders.
• Document research processes, findings and recommendations throughout the project period.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and communicate with stakeholders to ensure alignment.
