Job summary

HJH MAIMUNAH EXPRESS PTE. LTD. invites applicants for restaurant staff roles.

The position involves preparing and serving food for dine-in, take-away or online orders, making drinks and desserts, and assisting with routine kitchen tasks. You will respond to customers promptly and maintain a clean dining and counter area, including stock management and shift-based work. Applicants should be able to work in shifts and across multiple locations, with a focus on customer service and sanitary

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and ensure the dining area is kept clean at all times.
• Stock up sauces, cutleries, packing bags, cups and other items as required.
• Report any unusual incidents to the duty store manager.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager.

Job description

• Prepare and serve food for dine in, take away or online orders.
• Prepare drinks, desserts and additional side orders for customers
• Assist in simple kitchen tasks when necessary
• Attend and respond to the customers’ requests promptly and professionally
• Complete the routine of counter-opening, counter-closing duties during shift handover and closing at night
• Maintain the cleanliness of the back & front counter area, chiller, ice bin and beverage equipment on a regular basis
• Stock-up on the necessary sauces, cutleries, packing bags, cups and other items as required to serve the customer
• Serve meals and ensure the dining area is kept clean all the time
• Responsible to clear away rubbish properly to maintain a clean, safe and sanitary environment for customers
• Report immediately to the duty store manager for any unusual incidents that may cause harm to other employees or to the company’s brand
• Undertake any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager
• Able to work in shifts and work in multiple locations
