Job summary

Direct Search Global is seeking a highly organized Sales Coordinator to support our marine industry clients in Singapore. You will manage customer enquiries, quotations, orders, and day-to-day sales activities, working cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience in sales coordination or related roles, and a background in marine, shipping, offshore, or industrial products is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in sales coordination, sales administration, customer service, or commercial support.
• Experience in marine, shipping, offshore, engineering, or industrial products industry is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the sales team.
• Handle customer enquiries and coordinate with internal teams for information.
• Prepare and issue quotations, proposals, purchase orders, and sales documentation.
• Follow up on quotations, customer enquiries, and pending orders.
• Coordinate delivery of marine products, spare parts, equipment, and services to customers, vessels, and shipyards.
• Maintain accurate records of customer information, quotations, orders, and sales activities.
• Monitor order status and provide customers with regular updates.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments on product availability, pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Assist the sales team in preparing sales reports, presentations, and pipeline updates.
• Support the preparation of tenders and commercial proposals where required.
• Coordinate customer meetings, service appointments, vessel visits, and other sales-related activities.
• Assist with invoicing and payment follow-ups in coordination with the Finance team.
• Maintain good relationships with existing customers and ensure a high level of customer service.
• Identify customer requirements and highlight potential upselling or cross-selling opportunities to the sales team.
• Support the sales team with market research and identification of potential customers.
• Ensure all sales and customer documentation is properly maintained and updated.

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Service Coordinator to support the commercial team in managing customer enquiries, quotations, orders, and day-to-day sales activities.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales, Technical, Service, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure customer requirements are handled efficiently and orders are delivered smoothly.

Experience within the marine, shipping, offshore, engineering, or industrial products and services industry will be an advantage.
