Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a qualified and experienced Service Coordination (Utility) Engineer to join the project team on a full-time site basis. The role focuses on coordinating all services-related matters during construction and working closely with service providers to ensure smooth execution.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and has at least 3 years of local experience in services-related construction works in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, recognised by the Commissioner of Building Control or IES.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant local experience in services-related construction works in Singapore.
• Strong understanding of services coordination, site operations and interfaces.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently on site and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Be stationed full-time on site to oversee and coordinate all services-related matters.
• Lead discussions and coordinate with service providers to ensure smooth execution of services-related works.
• Assist the Contractor’s Representative in identifying and resolving services coordination issues during construction.
• Coordinate with the project team, subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders to address site issues.
• Monitor progress of services-related works and ensure coordination with other construction activities.
• Identify potential clashes and interface issues and facilitate timely resolution.
• Maintain coordination records and provide updates on outstanding issues and resolutions.

• Must be independent of any other role in the project.
