Job summary

HRNET VENTURES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Test Engineering Technician in Singapore to grow a career in server and hardware testing. You will train testers, support production testing, and develop rack test templates while working with a structured 4-day week after training.

The role involves building Golden Images, coordinating with software teams, and handling test systems, with day and night 12-hour shifts and related allowances.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years in testing or manufacturing; 4+ years if no degree.
• Experience in server, rack or hardware testing.
• Basic knowledge of Linux and DOS.
• Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand Test Process Instructions and train testers.
• Support operators and resolve queries during production testing.
• Create and maintain Golden Images for servers and ensure test database accuracy.
• Develop rack test templates based on BOM and Engineering Instructions.
• Coordinate with software teams to deploy rack configurations into test systems.
• Set up database entries for new hardware components such as switches and power shelves.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production test issues.
• Raise technical tickets and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
• Escalate complex technical issues to engineers or supervisors.
• Maintain training documentation and records for audit requirements.
• Guide and provide technical training to junior technicians when required.
• Support production readiness to facilitate timely shipment.
