Job summary

Keppel Infrastructure in Singapore seeks an Operations Engineer to support daily plant operations, performing routine checks, monitoring parameters, and managing boiler water and equipment switch-overs. You will also work on safety initiatives, PTW, and incident documentation within a Waste-to-Energy context.

The role requires a higher NITEC in a technical field, solid knowledge of DCS, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

Higher NITEC in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Working knowledge of plant equipment and DCS functions.
Class 2 Boiler Attendant Certificate preferred but not mandatory.
Training in HAZMAT/First Aid/Incident Management/Work-at-Height/Confined Space planned for those untrained.
Strong safety mindset and can-do attitude.
Meticulous with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Good team-player with high initiative.
Interest in process or Waste-to-Energy plant operations.
Committed to 12-hour shift work and willing to support on off/rest day.
Two years contract position.

Responsibilities

Carry out routine checks and testing of plant equipment and propose job cards.
Monitor plant parameters and adjust/troubleshoot via DCS or on site.
Manage boiler water condition and level; monitor water consumption.
Perform equipment switch-overs (feed water pumps, flue gas treatment, dosing silo).
Optimize refuse incineration throughput based on operating conditions.
Record and document changes in procedures per ISO standards.
