Job summary

CHINA COMMUNICATIONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED (SINGAPORE BRANCH) is seeking a Senior Workplace Safety & Health professional to lead the WSH system on site in Singapore, ensuring MOM compliance and sustainable safety performance.

You will oversee risk assessments, incident investigations, environmental controls, and training, coordinating with project teams and authorities to drive continuous safety improvements on PPVC projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Safety, Health and Environmental Management.
• Must be a registered WSH Officer with MOM.
• Certified Environmental Control Officer (ECO).
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in building construction projects.
• Experience in PPVC projects will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of local WSH and environmental regulations.
• Good leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and manage site safety effectively.
• 6 working days.
• Working Hours: Shift work required, including night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and improvement of the WSH Management System per MOM requirements.
• Oversee risk assessments, SWP, and JSA for all site activities including PPVC.
• Plan, organise and lead safety inspections, audits, and management walkthroughs.
• Identify hazards and implement risk controls with timely closure of observations.
• Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations with root-cause analysis.
• Prepare WSH reports, statistics, and documentation for authorities.
