HTX in Singapore is seeking an experienced telecommunications engineer to lead end-to-end design of Wireless and Fixed Access infrastructure, ensuring security and capacity planning to support public safety needs.

The role requires strong knowledge of 5G NR, 4G LTE, TETRA, RF planning, and project management, with responsibilities spanning tender evaluation, system integration, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualificações

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or other related Engineering.
• Applicants with postgraduate qualifications and/or more than 5 years of experience working in the relevant technology domains will be considered for senior positions.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in wireless communication systems like 5G NR, 4G LTE, and TETRA for Engineer/Lead Engineer and at least 8 years for Principal Engineer in a suitably sized enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge in telecommunications standards like 3GPP, ETSI and etc and the latest developments.
• Strong Knowledge in RF, coverage planning, EMI/EMC.
• Knowledge on Telecommunication RAN virtualization, and Mobility is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge in 5G related services like Network Slicing.
• Strong planning and project management skills, with facilitation skills, problem-solving skills and organising capabilities. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification would be an advantage.
• Strong interest in technology and innovation.
• Basic technical knowledge of computer networking, including knowledge of hardware, protocols, and internet standards.
• Basic understanding of legal contracts.
• Basic financial knowledge of project procurement, including capital and operational expenditures.
• Good interpersonal skills and be able to be both a leader and a team player across different groups and levels.

Responsabilidades

• End-to-end design (including security) of Wireless and Fixed Access to meet HTD’s needs.
• Plan near- and long-term network architecture evolution and capacity needs.
• Lead in project management of Wireless and Fixed Access infrastructure and tender evaluation.
• Ensure system availability and life cycle costing considerations are included.
• Prepare technical documents and participate in acceptance tests (UAT, FAT, OSAT, SSAT).
• Manage system configuration and ensure proper delivery of hardware/software with versioning.

Formação académica

Tertiary qualification in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or other related Engineering.
