Job summary

Binance is seeking an experienced backend engineer to design, develop, and optimize large-scale backend systems for Web3 security. You will collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to translate security requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Key responsibilities include maintaining and upgrading security services, building new backend capabilities, and partnering with data teams to enhance threat detection and automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience in blockchain, Web3 security, anti-fraud, risk control, or related domains.
• Solid experience designing and delivering complex backend systems in large-scale, high-concurrency environments.
• Proficient in Java technology stack, especially Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and NoSQL databases; backend service development and optimization.
• Familiar with distributed systems, caching, message queues (Kafka), service discovery, and config management.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and optimize backend systems within Binance's Web3 security domain for high performance and scalability.
• Maintain and upgrade backend and security services to improve reliability and stability.
• Design and implement new services with product managers and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with security and data teams to enhance threat detection and automation.
• Work with analysts on data collection, cleaning, modeling, and analysis for security use cases.
• Contribute to backend and big data workflows for Web3 security and control scenarios.
• Communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders to ensure project execution.
