Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) seeks a senior specialist in Group BCM to drive the Bank's continuity programme, enhance resilience and manage crises. You will lead guidelines, tests and governance while coordinating with global stakeholders and regulators.

The role requires 12+ years in Business Continuity and Resilience in finance, with strong communication and strategic thinking. Singapore-based, on-site with potential international collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree from a recognized university.
• Strong knowledge of banking products and services.
• Familiar with Operational Resiliency and Singapore BCM requirements.
• Experience with regulatory engagements (MAS/ABS) preferred.
• BCM practitioner accreditation (BCI/DRI) is an advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Self-starter with strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of BCM guidelines, plans, processes and tests.
• Conduct risk assessments, business impact analysis and crisis management planning.
• Ensure BCM plans align with policy and regulatory requirements.
• Validate plans via tests and drills; raise awareness through training.
• Coordinate overseas BCM readiness and resilience initiatives across subsidiaries and branches.
• Support regulatory engagements and audit requests and maintain governance.
