Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead the AML Workflow Case Management platform across the Group. You will define strategic roadmaps, govern architecture, and deliver scalable, highly available solutions in a regulated environment.

You will manage a distributed team spanning Singapore, Malaysia, and India, drive engineering excellence, and oversee vendor partnerships to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 12+ years in enterprise workflow and case management platforms with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience leading large technology teams in banking/regulated industries.
• Platform architecture, solution evaluation, and enterprise design experience.
• Experience with mission-critical, highly available workflow applications.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the AML Workflow roadmap aligned with Financial Crime Compliance programs.
• Lead multiple initiatives and releases to meet regulatory and operational requirements.
• Deliver tech solutions on time, within budget, to agreed requirements and quality standards.
• Ensure platform availability, scalability, security, and resilience for growing volumes.
• Manage risk, security, audit, and compliance of the AML portfolio.
• Oversee end-to-end application lifecycle management from initiation to post-production support.
• Lead distributed teams across Singapore, Malaysia, and India with vendor management.
• Drive engineering excellence, delivery best practices, and SDM adherence.
• Define governance with Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, Data, and Software Eng.
• Manage fixed-cost vendor engagements and system integrators for timely delivery.
• Provide leadership on OpenText AppWorks, integrations, security, and optimization.
• Collaborate with AML Operations, Compliance, and Finance for innovative tech solutions.
• Engage with regulators and industry initiatives (e.g., COSMIC) as technology representative.
• Drive CI/CD, automation, and governance improvements across agile delivery.
